Here at PUP Hiking Company, we go beyond traditional dog walking to offer a truly unique and enriching experience. Our mission is to help your dog thrive in natural settings, where they learn to socialize, build confidence, and enjoy pack adventures they won’t find anywhere else.

Led by qualified professionals who understand the intricacies of dog behavior, every hike is a chance for your pup to grow, explore, and return home both mentally and physically fulfilled.

Discover tailored daily hikes for your dog, scheduled in the morning and afternoon. We occasionally allow on-leash pups, but off-leash play is encouraged for maximum enjoyment and socialization.

🌲 Dynamic Pack Adventures with Seamless Convenience!

Join our pack for hikes with 7-15 companions, fostering socialization and play. Our diverse group includes high-energy dogs, providing a perfect environment for social skills and off-leash manners practice. We hike in all weather conditions, adjusting for safety, and occasionally embracing unexpected elements like snowstorms.

📍 Safety Assurance with Garmin Tracking

Rest easy as your pup explores off-leash with our advanced Garmin tracking collars. With a 2-mile range and 2.5-second refresh rate, we prioritize safety, ensuring every dog is monitored with precision. While the technology to track a lost dog is there, the purpose of our tracking system is to allow our pups to explore the trail while maintaining a safe and reasonable distance.

Drop-off for all services is between 8:00-8:30 am, while Pickup at the end of the day is between 3:30-4:00 pm.

Our Full day option combines both for a 8am to 4pm adventure day!

Our Approach

All of our hikings are off-leash. We require prior experience with pack walks to join our hikes.

Utilizing Garmin GPS tracking collars, all pups are on a reciever with a 2.5 second refresh rate and a distance of 2 miles.

8:00 Drop-off at Daycare Location

8:00- 12:00 Morning Hike (Travel time included)

12:00 Midday Switch for HALF-DAY pups

Midday Break for FULL-DAY pups

12:00- 4:00 Afternoon hike (Travel time included)

4:00 Pickup at Daycare Location

Lunch/Food

We utilize high-value chicken based treats to create a bond with our pups.
We recommend not feeding your pup a large breakfast as it can cause discomfort hiking on a full stomach.
We do not feed lunch or snacks for any pups, other than necessary for medical reasons. This is to ensure safety for everyone
